Pretty Little Liars was a big purchase for MTV in the UK, and a major strand in Viva’s entertainment programming.
As such, it needed a launch that would really catch people’s imaginations and get them talking, without giving too much of the game away. Which this did, capturing the emotionally vibe of the show, building intrigue, generating some significant Twitter love and a big uplift in viewing. The idea also went on to run in other MTV markets.
